Had a wonderful show in my Mom's honor on Monday night at the Ark. Thanks so much to all of you who were there with us. Here's an update about it and the gofundme update as well, in plain text, without redactions.

God I loathe Ann Arbor. And I don’t understand why he’s fighting to keep control of a dog he wants nothing to do with. This whole thing is so puzzling to me.
Tonight, Monday, August 3rd @ 8 PM--We're (Hot Club of Cowtown) so looking forward to being back at the Ark in Ann Arbor tonight. This show is dedicated to my Mom, Susan Hammerton, an Ann Arbor resident for more than 30 years who never missed any of our Ann Arbor shows. Tonight will be a regular Hot Club of Cowtown show, but with my Mom highlighted in her beautiful spirit, and also a thank you to all those who have stepped in to help and support me and her memory and wishes since she passed almost two years ago. And that includes so many of you who may be seeing this but can't make it. I'm also updating the gofundme today so if you'd like more information on what's been happening (or not happening) lately with her case and her dog, Isabelle, I'll share that later this afternoon. Starting shows at the Evergreen Jazz Festival tonight--we have two shows a day in all different venues.....gorgeous and piney here with the Colorado sunshine pouring down--a lot like my violin's hometown in the mountains of Mittenwald, Germany! I hope it feels at home, as I do....... 🎻
